Chinabank hikes ATM withdrawal limit to P50,000

Sy family-led China Bank nets P1.9B in Q1 2019

Sy family-led China Bank has jacked up its daily automated teller machine (ATM) withdrawal limit to P50,000 from P20,000 to make it easier for customers to have enough cash at hand during the lockdown of Luzon.

Starting April 1, 2020, until the enhanced community quarantine is lifted, China Bank ATM cardholders can withdraw up to this amount per day from any ATM, the bank announced on Wednesday.

There is no withdrawal fee for any of the 1,013 ATMs of China Bank and  China Bank Savings, but standard fees apply when other banks’ ATMs are used.

China Bank is also  encouraging customers to bank from home as much as possible, assuring them that its digital banking channels are available.

If absolutely necessary, select branches in Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon are open for deposit and withdrawal transactions from 9 am to 2 pm. All branches in Visayas and Mindanao are open but likewise observe the same shortened banking hour, the bank said.
